This Privacy Policy describes how JustSpinWheel (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit or use our website and browser-based spin wheel tools (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
1. Who we are
JustSpinWheel provides free, client-side random picker and decision wheel experiences for entertainment and everyday decisions. JustSpinWheel is run by Ahmet Gökdemir, an independent developer (also the developer of the Spini app), who is the data controller for justspinwheel.com. You can reach us at [email protected].
2. Information we process
2.1 Information you enter
Labels and options you type into a wheel are processed in your browser on your device and are not sent to our servers. We do not require an account to use basic features. If you use “Save & Share link” (or similar), your list may be encoded into the URL. Anyone who receives that link can decode and read those labels. Do not put passwords, health data, financial details, or other sensitive personal information into shared links.
2.2 Local storage
We may store your entry list in browser local storage so it persists between visits on the same device and browser. You can clear this data anytime via your browser settings.
2.3 Technical and log data
Like most websites, servers, CDNs, or hosting providers may automatically log data such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP, device type, browser version, referring URL, timestamps, and pages requested. We use this information for security, reliability, abuse prevention, and aggregated statistics.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
We and our partners may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies to:
- remember preferences and language selections where applicable;
- measure traffic and performance (e.g. aggregated analytics);
- deliver and measure advertising, including through Google AdSense or comparable networks.

4.1 Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregated usage, such as which pages are visited, page speed measurements and approximate country. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers. We do not send the contents of your wheels to Google Analytics, and shared-list parameters are removed from the page address we report. Where consent is required, analytics cookies are only used after you consent. You can also install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
5. Legal bases (EEA, UK, and similar)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on appropriate legal bases such as: contract or legitimate interests (operating and securing the Service, analytics, fraud prevention), and—where required—consent for non-essential cookies and certain ad processing. You may withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
6. Sharing of information
We share information with service providers that assist us (e.g. hosting, analytics, advertising networks) subject to contractual safeguards where appropriate. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

Server logs and analytics may be retained for a limited period according to operational and legal needs. Locally stored wheel data remains until you clear site data in your browser. Shared URLs may be stored by third parties (e.g. chat apps, search indexes) outside our control.

10. Children
JustSpinWheel is a general-audience website. It is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; use the Service at your own risk for highly sensitive decisions.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change accordingly. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance unless applicable law requires additional steps.
